Nathaniel Wei Receives 2023 Richard B. Chapman Memorial Award

Nathaniel Wei, a graduate student working with John Dabiri, Centennial Professor of Aeronautics and Mechanical Engineering, is a recipient of the 2023 Richard B. Chapman Memorial Award. His research combines theoretical, experimental, and numerical approaches to characterize the effects of unsteady flows on natural and engineering systems, such as wind turbines, aircraft, and flying and swimming animals. The Richard B. Chapman Memorial Award is given annually to a graduate student in Hydrodynamics who has distinguished themselves in research in the EAS Division.
