GALCIT has earned the number
one spot in the 2008 U.S. News & World Report The Graduate Aeronautical Laboratories at Caltech (GALCIT) has earned the number one spot in the 2008 U.S. News & World Report ranking of U.S. graduate engineering programs in aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical engineering. GALCIT, which moved up two places from last year's ranking, shares the top position with Stanford and MIT. This ranking is particularly impressive given our small faculty and student body sizes. It primarily reflects the quality of our faculty, and most importantly, it demonstrates the excellent reputation of our graduates, who routinely occupy leading positions in academia, national labs, and industry. The annual survey is now available on newsstands and at www.usnews.com.
