Norbert Peters

Professor Norbert Peters has recently joined the faculty at Stanford University. He has spent most of his scientific career at Aachen, Germany, where he also is director of the Institut fuer Technische Mechanik. He has published over 200 papers on flamelet theory, reduced mechanisms and turbulent combustion. His latest book entitled "Turbulent Combustion" appeared 2000 at Cambridge University Press.
