Detonation Structure Computation Tools

Update - November 30 2006 A set of Tools based on Cantera are now available for computing shock and detonation jump conditions, CJ state, CV, and ZND reaction zone structure. Matlab versions for PCs and Python versions for Linux are available. All tools are based on open-source software.

The following programs are no longer supported, please use the programs and scripts provided in the Shock and Detonation Toolbox.

ZND - computes the structure of a gas-phase detonation wave based on the idealized model of Zeldovich, von Neumann and Doering. Brief instructions are provided.

CV - Constant volume explosion simulation. Brief instructions are provided.

The executables have been compiled with ggc for win32 (Windows 95, 98 or NT). They are crippled in terms of the amount of memory (number of species) that they can accomodate.
